Riding
on the coat tails of Chicken 65 that is so popular in India and loved by
everyone who’s tried it, I’m making a new twist on this old classic. A pound of
raw ground chicken is getting it’s sexy back in this recipe.
1
lb ground chicken (dark meat)
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 egg beaten
Salt
1/2 red onion finely chopped
1/2 cup curry leaves
2 chillies chopped
2 cloves of garlic chopped
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp chilli powder
2 tbsps chilli paste
1 tbsp each ginger and garlic paste
1/4 tsp powdered color
Heat some oil and fry the onions, curry leaves, chillies, & garlic. Saute for a few secs add ground chicken. Add the cumin, chilli powder, chilli paste, ginger garlic paste. Cook for about 30 – 40seconds so the paste is not raw secs. Add salt. Add powdered colour. Cook the chicken for a few mins, then add spice mix, Cook for another 7-10 mins.
